Well hello again. How is everyone? All fine I hope. I am currently enjoying the travellers' lifestyle again having finished my 6 month contract on paradise island.

Life on the island was very relaxing: a few hours work here, a few hours sitting around drinking coffee there. The locals certainly don't push themsleves too hard, which meant that I could happily follow suit. Get this, to service 45 villas we employed over 350 staff (mainly because they were so inefficient). We even employed a full time snake catcher to wander around the resort looking like he knew what he was doing. Hilariously, he was the only person during my time there to actually get bitten! May have had something to do with the fact that he went snake catching in flip flops and shorts armed with 2 highly sophisticated wooden sticks.

I have now been travelling round Vietnam for 3 weeks which has been great. Have seen loads of temples, motorbikes, beaches, book / cigarette / postcard sellers, pictures of Ho Chi Minh etc. My ability with the 27000 times table has also improved immensely as the current exchange rate is 1 pound to 27,618 dong. I will indeed miss going out and blowing a few hundred thousand on a night out.

I now have 2 days left in Vietnam before I take a boat up the Mekong river into Cambodia. Cannot wait to see the Angkor Wat temples - that should be an awesome sight. I then head to Bangkok, from where I will fly home on the 21st Dec. Will be great to see everyone again although I'm not looking forward to freezing my nuts off too much.

Ig anyone wants me to bring back cheap cigarettes, aftershave, CD's, DVD's etc. please e-mail me your requests and I shall do my best. Can't promise you I will carry back T.V.s, cars etc. though.
